ErectaStep Access Platform for Gas Turbine Maintenance
ErectaStep's modular platform provides safe and convenient access for turbine operations, particularly for the IGV (Inlet Guide Vane) section and the combustion section of gas turbines. These areas are critical during jet engine testing, as the IGV controls the airflow into the turbine, influencing the engine's efficiency, while the combustion section is responsible for igniting and sustaining the combustion process that powers the turbine.
This platform installation enables technicians to securely enter and access these sections without the need to climb directly onto the skid, promoting safer, three-point contact access. The design adheres to OSHA safety standards and ensures both stability and ease of use, allowing mechanical personnel to perform maintenance with minimal effort and maximum safety.
Because ErectaStep is pre-manufactured and modular, this installation was completed in one with in-stock components. Not special tools, cutting or welding was necessary.
